Dr Ragini Ghiya is a Fellow of Australasian College of Dermatologist (FACD). She completed her bachelor in medicine degree in 2003 with a Gold medal from India. Following which she pursued her passion for dermatology and completed her doctorate of medicine (MD) in Dermatology and passed her exams with a Gold Medal of excellence. She was awarded a presentation scholarship for her research thesis by American Academy of Dermatology in the year 2011.
She has been involved in practicing dermatology since 2011. With over 14 yrs of experience as a consultant dermatologist, Ragini’s thorough knowledge in the field coupled with passionate patient care ensures highest standard of treatment and care.
Over past 16 yrs of her career as a dermatologist, she has gained vast experience in treating variety of dermatological conditions and skin cancers with varied presentations. She also developed a keen interest in various dermato-surgical procedures including skin cancer procedures, cosmetic procedures, vitiligo surgeries and hair transplant and she continually updated her skills for the same through different conferences and workshops, sometimes as attendee and sometimes sharing her knowledge and experience as a faculty.
To pursue her passion towards hair transplant surgeries, she visited and learned from various specialists from all over the world. Dr Ragini Ghiya is a member of ISHRS (International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons). Along with attending different scientific platforms, She has also taken talks on different national and international conferences on hair transplant. She has vast experience of performing more than 4000 hair transplant surgeries over past 13 yrs of her practice. While perfecting the art and science behind the techniques, she has developed her unique way of doing the surgeries to achieve higher hair densities, natural hair lines and using different body hairs where applicable.
